Franckh-Kosmos and F. A. Herbig entrust eBook distribution to Bookwire

Frankfurt a. M., 10 September 2018 – “The Three Investigators” has been a favourite series of generations of readers – including the eBook generation. But something about distribution of the successful titles from KOSMOS Verlag has changed: Bookwire GmbH from Frankfurt a. M. is now responsible for it – just as it is for all of the traditional publisher’s eBooks. What’s more, it has acquired new clients in the form of publishers LangenMüller, Herbig and Nymphenburger, which are part of F. A. Herbig Verlagsbuchhandlung.

The cooperation agreements cover the eBook catalogues of publishers KOSMOS (around 1,000 titles), LangenMüller, Herbig and Nymphenburger (approx. 500 titles in total). The eBooks are placed in all relevant shops – Amazon, Apple iBooks, Google Play, tolino etc. – as well as eBook subscription model Skoobe, with immediate effect, by the Account Management Team at the Bookwire headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, and the international branches.

“The catalogues of the four lists are successful because they appeal to very different target groups. In order to optimally position this diversity on the vast eBook market, we are putting our trust in Bookwire’s combination of experience, team and software. It’s the perfect package for this demanding marketing activity”, says Mariella Becherer, Book Distribution Manager for the KOSMOS, LangenMüller, Herbig and Nymphenburger lists.

“We really enjoy optimally positioning exciting publishing portfolios on the global eBook market. That this now includes the particularly successful series ‘The Three Investigators’ is exciting in the most literal sense. With Kosmos, LangenMüller, Herbig and Nymphenburger we are now able to include the distribution of more lists into our core business”, says John Ruhrmann, Managing Director of Bookwire GmbH, of the cooperation.
