Abu Dhabi, May 22, 2023 – Arabookverse is the leading company that specializes in distributing Arabic digital content on major global platforms. The company was co-founded by three highly experienced professionals in the publishing, technology, and MENA business sectors: Ali Abdul-Moneim, the founder of Storytel Arabia with over 23 years of publishing experience, Ahmed Rewihel, a seasoned Egyptian entrepreneur with 16 years of publishing and MENA business experience, and Waleed Sameh, a former COO of the first ebook platform in the Middle East powered by Vodafone with over 20 years of experience in technology and publishing. Arabookverse has recently formed a strategic partnership agreement with the German company Bookwire, which offers innovative solutions for producing, distributing, marketing ebooks, audiobooks, and podcasts, as well as print on-demand services.

The agreement signed in May establishes the foundations for a strategic partnership between the two sides, which should focus on distributing and promoting Arabic digital content (electronic and audio) globally on major global platforms. Ali Abdel-Moneim, CEO and Co-founder of Arabookverse, stated: "We are very pleased with this collaboration with Bookwire one of the largest distributors of ebooks and audiobooks in the world, where we will be able to utilize German technology and expertise in digital publishing to contribute to the development of the publishing industry in the Arab region."

Abdel-Moneim added, "Our vision is to open new horizons for Arab content creators and producers to convey their creativity to the world as an important step towards developing the publishing and content industry in the Middle East region."
Jens Klingelhöfer, CEO and Co-Founder of Bookwire says: We're excited to partner with Arabookverse, the leading distributor of Arabic digital content. We're honored to contribute our technology and expertise in digital publishing to support the development of the publishing industry in the Arab region and to help bring the creativity of Arab content creators and producers to a global audience.”

The company Arabookverse was founded in London at the beginning of 2023 by a group of publishing industry experts in the Arab region with the aim of supporting Arab content creators such as publishers, authors, and creatives in digital transformation processes, as well as increasing Arabic digital content on the internet, and building the largest catalog of Arabic digital content globally.
Arabookverse focuses on its strategic vision and plans to enhance the digital transformation of the publishing industry in the Middle East by opening up new horizons for Arab content creators, enabling publishers, authors, and creatives in the Arab region to reach a global audience, and providing new display windows for Arab culture globally through digital publishing.

Bookwire was founded in Frankfurt, Germany, in 2010 and currently employs 150 people in seven countries, including the United Kingdom, Spain, France, Brazil, Mexico, the United States, and Germany. Bookwire launched the innovative software "Bookwire OS – One Solution" in 2019, designed specifically for publishers, consolidating all production, distribution, marketing and analytics processes in one place.
